BEAT-DP

BEAT-DP is a research project led by the University of Malta to help people manage overactive bladder. For people living with the condition, a sudden urge to urinate or frequent trips to the bathroom can interrupt daily activities and disturb sleep. The project aims to offer support that goes beyond tracking symptoms by drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy and tailoring that support to each person’s needs.

Funded by Xjenza Malta, the project brings together university researchers and Flying Squirrel Games together to explore how machine learning can identify patterns in data and use those insights to support more personalised care.
